Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo wishes to inform that, during the deliberations held on 18 and 19 February in its full composition has adjudicated referrals submitted for proceedings before the Constitutional Court.
Referrals registered within the Secretariat of the Court as follows: KI. 06/09, KI. 12/09, KI. 13/09, KI. 21/09, KI. 23/09, KI. 31/09, KI. 68/09 and KI. 71/09 have been rejected because of their inadmissibility, while referral KI. 73/09 is rejected, and the request for the imposition of Interim Measure has been refused.
The Compilation of the decisions and notification of the parties will be in accordance with legal deadlines set by the Law on Constitutional Court and the Rules of Procedure of the Court.

The Constitutional Court of Kosovo was established in January 2009.

With its authority to review legislation and individual complaints of rights violations, the Court is the ultimate check on legislative and executive power in Kosovo and the final arbiter of the meaning of constitutional provisions enshrining human rights and freedoms.
