Constitutional Court and Faculty of Law of PU “Hasan Prishtina” organized an open lecture with Robert Spano, the former President of the ECtHR

The Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo and the Faculty of Law of Prishtina University “Hasan Prishtina” have organized an open lecture with Mr. Robert Spano, the former President of the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) and President of the Board of Patrons, Gender Champions in the Judiciary Network, on the topic: “Inclusive Democracy and Rule of Law – the Fight for Our Future”.

The President of the Constitutional Court, Mrs. Gresa Caka – Nimani and the dean of the Faculty of Law of Prishtina University “Hasan Prishtina”, Mr. Avni Puka, first addressed the students and other guests gathered in the amphitheater of the Faculty of Law of Prishtina University, with a speech on that occasion.

After the lecture, Mr. Spano answered a number of questions posed by students pertaining to the case law of the European Court of Human Rights, the adoption of the jurisprudence of this court by other European states and the importance of implementing the European Convention on Human Rights.
