President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo, Prof. Dr. Enver Hasani, will host a joint meeting with the President of the Constitutional Court of Bulgaria, Prof. Dr. Dimitar Tokushev, Judges of the Constitutional Court of Turkey, Mr. Muammer Topal and Mr. Murat Şen, and the Judge of the Constitutional Court of Poland, Prof. Dr. Marek Zubik, on Tuesday, 16 June 2015.

The meeting will take place in the Office of the President of the Court starting at 12:45 hrs.

The high level delegations from the regional and European Constitutional Courts are staying in Kosovo to attend the farewell ceremony on the occasion of the end of mandate of the President of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo, Prof. Dr. Enver Hasani, that will be held on Tuesday, 16 June 2015, at “Beethoven” Hall of “Emerald” Hotel in Prishtina at 18:00 hrs.

The Constitutional Court of Kosovo was established in January 2009.

With its authority to review legislation and individual complaints of rights violations, the Court is the ultimate check on legislative and executive power in Kosovo and the final arbiter of the meaning of constitutional provisions enshrining human rights and freedoms.
