The survey report “Public Perception of the Constitutional Court” is published

The Council of Europe has published the survey report titled: “Public Perception of the Constitutional Court”. The survey was conducted by the company “UBO Consulting” with the aim to assess the public’s awareness, perceptions, and experiences regarding the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo.

This is the first time such a survey has been conducted about the Constitutional Court.

The majority of respondents expressed a high level of confidence in the independence and impartiality of the Court.

The Constitutional Court of Kosovo was established in January 2009.

With its authority to review legislation and individual complaints of rights violations, the Court is the ultimate check on legislative and executive power in Kosovo and the final arbiter of the meaning of constitutional provisions enshrining human rights and freedoms.
