The Court published the Annual Report 2023

The Constitutional Court has published the Annual Report for the year 2023, in accordance with Article 115, paragraph 2, of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo.

The report contains, inter alia, summarized information regarding the number of the cases handled and submitted referrals, the alleged violations by type and the time limit for resolving the referrals, budget expenditures and investments in infrastructure, procurement activities and internal audits, official visits in the country and abroad, the conferences and workshops organized, as well as the total number of employees and the gender structure.

The Constitutional Court of Kosovo was established in January 2009.

With its authority to review legislation and individual complaints of rights violations, the Court is the ultimate check on legislative and executive power in Kosovo and the final arbiter of the meaning of constitutional provisions enshrining human rights and freedoms.
