The Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo denies allegations of an article published by the portal Paparaci.com, on Sunday, 16 April 2023, titled: “Head of AKI reported over blackmail of constitutional judges“.

The Constitutional Court is fully independent in the performance of its constitutional functions. The Court, within the framework of the constitutional competences and the competences established in the applicable laws, also has cooperation with all institutions of the Republic of Kosovo.

The Constitutional Court of Kosovo was established in January 2009.

With its authority to review legislation and individual complaints of rights violations, the Court is the ultimate check on legislative and executive power in Kosovo and the final arbiter of the meaning of constitutional provisions enshrining human rights and freedoms.
