Constitutional Court will celebrate the jubilee of the 10th Judicial Year

The Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo will celebrate the jubilee of the 10th Judicial Year with a solemn ceremony to be organized in the “Beethoven” Hall of the “Emerald” Hotel in Prishtina on Wednesday, 23 October 2019.

The ceremony will begin at 17:00 hrs and will be attended by the most senior state leaders, accredited representatives of diplomatic missions and international organizations in the country, as well as highest level delegations from the Constitutional Court of Albania, the Constitutional Court of Montenegro, the Constitutional Court of North Macedonia, the Constitutional Court of Croatia, the Constitutional Court of Turkey, the Constitutional Court of the Czech Republic, the Constitutional Court of Portugal, the Constitutional Court of Luxembourg and the Constitutional Court of Malta.

The participants in the ceremony of the jubilee anniversary of the Constitutional Court will be an internationally well-known jurist and at the same time the Representative of the Republic of Ireland to the Venice Commission, Ms. Grainne McMorrow, as well as the Director of International Affairs of the American Federalist Society for Law and Public Policy Studies, Mr. Jim Kelly.

The President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Arta Rama-Hajrizi, and Representative of the Republic of Ireland to the Venice Commission, Ms. Grainne McMorrow and former International Judge of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo, Ms. Snezhana Botusharova shall address the participants of the ceremony with an occasional speech.

Following the solemn ceremony, which will be concluded with a cocktail party for the participants, in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the work of the Constitutional Court, on Thursday, 24 October 2019, at 10:00 hrs, in the “Beethoven” Hall of “Emerald” Hotel will be held International Conference on the topic “Ensuring Rule of Law and Human Rights through Constitutional Justice Mechanisms: Challenges of 21st Century”.
