President Caka-Nimani hosted the new USAID Kosovo Mission Director

The President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Gresa Caka – Nimani, hosted the new USAID Kosovo Mission Director, Mrs. Eileen Devitt.

After wishing success to Mrs. Devitt in her new position, President Caka-Nimani emphasized the excellent cooperation and valuable support that USAID has provided to the Constitutional Court over the years, especially in the advancement of its professional and infrastructural capacities, as well as in the improvement of communication with the public.

President Caka – Nimani then informed Mrs. Devitt in more detail regarding the work of the Court so far, its current composition, the consolidated case-law, as well as the progress achieved at the country level in terms of the protection of human rights and the development of constitutional justice.

After thanking the President Caka – Nimani for the hospitality, Mrs. Devitt expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to serve in Kosovo and pledged USAID’s continued support to the Constitutional Court and other institutions in the country.
