The Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo hereby informs the wider public that one of its most dedicated employees, our colleague and editor, Bardh Hamzaj, passed away.

Bardh Hamzaj was editor-in-chief of the daily newspaper “Zëri”, a journalist, publicist and respected writer in all Albanian speaking lands.

The  Constitutional Court of Kosovo and its President, Prof. Dr. Enver Hasani, express the most sincere condolences to Hamzaj family for this loss and to all those that had the opportunity and the luck to be his associates.

 

The Constitutional Court of Kosovo was established in January 2009.

With its authority to review legislation and individual complaints of rights violations, the Court is the ultimate check on legislative and executive power in Kosovo and the final arbiter of the meaning of constitutional provisions enshrining human rights and freedoms.
