On 21 and 22 June 2011, in cooperation with the German Foundation for International Legal Cooperation (IRZ Foundation), the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo organizes workshops on subject: “The legal position of elected officers and delegates” and “Constitutional Courts and Media”.

The workshops will be held in the court room of the Constitutional Court starting at 09: 30 on Tuesday (21 June 2011), whereas on Wednesday at 09:00.

The Constitutional Court of Kosovo was established in January 2009.

With its authority to review legislation and individual complaints of rights violations, the Court is the ultimate check on legislative and executive power in Kosovo and the final arbiter of the meaning of constitutional provisions enshrining human rights and freedoms.
