Upon the invitation of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Germany, on
March 1-6, 2010, a delegation of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of
Kosovo, headed by the President of the Court, Prof. Dr. Enver Hasani, will realize
an official visit in order to establish contacts and cooperation.
According to the agenda, the first day of meetings for the delegation from Kosovo
will be organized reception in German Constitutional Court, wherein will be
meetings with the heads of this court and there will be discussions on deepening
the cooperation between the two respective Constitutional Courts. Furthermore,
the Kosovo delegation will have meetings and visit to the highest Appellate
courts.
Besides the visit to German Constitutional Court, delegation of the Constitutional
Court of Kosovo according to the agenda, on third day, March 3, will be visiting
and have meeting with heads of the Venice Commission in its headquarters in
Strasbourg. According to the International judge of the Constitutional Court of the
Republic of Kosovo, Dr. Snezhana Botusharova, former judge at the European
Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, who is part of the delegation, this will be a
unique opportunity for members of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo to follow
closely the latest developments and to take best practices from the work of these
two institutions with special importance.
