A the end of the three-day visit to the Republic of Albania, the delegation of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo, headed by its President, Prof. Dr. Enver Hasani, was received for a meeting by the President of Albania, Mr. Bamir Topi.

Thanking him for the reception, President Hasani informed Mr. Topi on the work and development of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo, on its role in the Kosovo judicial system, and on the close and very successful cooperation with the Constitutional Court of Albania.

President Topi highly praised the work of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo in the protection of constitutionality in Kosovo and encouraged Constitutional Courts of Kosovo and Albania to further deepen and develop this cooperation.

During the course of the visit to the Republic of Albania, the delegation of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo was also received by the President of the Assembly of Albania, Mrs. Jozefina Topalli, whereas Presidents of both Courts, Mr. Enver Hasani and Mr. Bashkim Dedja, signed an agreement on bilateral cooperation.

The Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo and the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Albania, in cooperation with the German Foundation “Hans Seidel” for International Legal Cooperation, organized a workshop on “Incidental Control” in Durrës, whereby the President of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo, Prof. Dr. Enver Hasani, and Mr. Admir Thanza, Judge of the Constitutional Court of Albania, held a lecture.
