The Constitutional Court presents its website to students of the Faculty Law of the UP

The Constitutional Court will present the key features of the new website of the Court for students of the bachelor level of the Faculty of Law of the University of Prishtina “Hasan Prishtina” in Prishtina, on Friday, 8 November 2019, starting at 09: 00 hrs.

During the presentation of the website, the future Kosovo lawyers will be more closely acquainted with the criteria for advanced search of the content and filtering of the decisions of the Constitutional Court, which they can use for their studies and their university and post university research.

The presentation of the Constitutional Court’s website for students of “Hasan Prishtina” University is made possible with the support of the USAID Kosovo Justice System Strengthening Program (JSSP) and will be done by the Director of Information and Communication Office of the Court, Mr. Veton Dula, as well as the Senior Constitutional – Legal Advisor of the Court, Mr. Jeton Bytyqi.

The Constitutional Court of Kosovo was established in January 2009.

With its authority to review legislation and individual complaints of rights violations, the Court is the ultimate check on legislative and executive power in Kosovo and the final arbiter of the meaning of constitutional provisions enshrining human rights and freedoms.
