Please be informed that on Thursday, 18 March 2010, commencing at 10:00h, the President of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo, Prof. Dr. Enver Hasani, will meet the Ambassador of the United Kingdom in Prishtina, Mr. Andy Sparks, and the Head of the DFID office in Kosovo, Mr. Robert Watt.
The meeting will be held in the office of the President of the Court, starting at 10:00h.
Before the meeting commences, the media will have an opportunity to take images from the meeting, whereas upon its conclusion there will be a press conference, in the conference room of the Constitutional Court, whereby the President of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo, Prof. Dr. Enver Hasani, the Ambassador of the United Kingdom, Mr. Andy Sparks, and the Head of DFID office in Kosovo, Mr. Robert Watt will address the media.

The Constitutional Court of Kosovo was established in January 2009.

With its authority to review legislation and individual complaints of rights violations, the Court is the ultimate check on legislative and executive power in Kosovo and the final arbiter of the meaning of constitutional provisions enshrining human rights and freedoms.
