On Wednesday, 15th of October 2014, the President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo, Prof. Dr. Enver Hasani, will host a joint meeting with the President of the Constitutional Court of Lithuania, Prof. Dr. Dainius Žalimas, the Judge of the Constitutional Court of Luxemburg, Mr. Francis Delaporte, and the prominent professor of the Constitutional Law from the University of Bologna, Prof. Dr. Luca Mezzeti.

The meeting will take place in the Library of the Constitutional Court starting at 11:00 hrs.

The high level delegations from the European Constitutional Courts are staying in Kosovo at the invitation to attend the ceremony of the Fifth Judicial Year of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo.

The Constitutional Court of Kosovo was established in January 2009.

With its authority to review legislation and individual complaints of rights violations, the Court is the ultimate check on legislative and executive power in Kosovo and the final arbiter of the meaning of constitutional provisions enshrining human rights and freedoms.
