On Monday, 30 June 2014, the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo has deliberated and has decided on the case KO103/14, submitted by the President of the Republic of Kosovo concerning the assessment of the compatibility of Article 84 [Competencies of the President], paragraph 14, with Article 95 [Election of the Government] of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo.

The Constitutional Court shall publish its decision in due time. 

The Constitutional Court of Kosovo was established in January 2009.

With its authority to review legislation and individual complaints of rights violations, the Court is the ultimate check on legislative and executive power in Kosovo and the final arbiter of the meaning of constitutional provisions enshrining human rights and freedoms.
