A delegation from the Czech Republic headed by the Chief Prosecutor of this country, Mr. Pavel Zeman, shall visit the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo on Wednesday, 14 May 2014.

The Czech delegation shall be received by the President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo, Prof. Dr. Enver Hasani.

The Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Kosovo, Mr. Jiri Dolezel, shall attend this meeting also.

The meeting shall be held in the Office of the President of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo, starting at 10:45 hrs.

The Constitutional Court of Kosovo was established in January 2009.

With its authority to review legislation and individual complaints of rights violations, the Court is the ultimate check on legislative and executive power in Kosovo and the final arbiter of the meaning of constitutional provisions enshrining human rights and freedoms.
