The President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo, Prof. Dr. Enver Hasani, has traveled for a visit in Turkey at the invitation of the Anadolu University on Thursday, 16 May 2013.

President Hasani has been invited as the main guest speaker of the conference organized on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the founding of the Faculty of Law at the Anadolu University, whereby will give a lecture on the topic: “The composition and authority of Kosovo Constitutional Court and experiences in constitutional complaints.”

The conference will be held at the Anadolu University Congress Center on Friday, 17 May 2013.

The Constitutional Court of Kosovo was established in January 2009.

With its authority to review legislation and individual complaints of rights violations, the Court is the ultimate check on legislative and executive power in Kosovo and the final arbiter of the meaning of constitutional provisions enshrining human rights and freedoms.
