We would like to inform you that the event of the Judicial Year of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo will be marked for the first time this year.
The solemn ceremony of the inauguration of the Judicial Year will be held on 14 October, starting at 17:00, at the Red Hall of the Youth Center in Prishtina, followed by a cocktail reception.
High-level state and international personalities and representatives in Kosovo, as well as delegations of the highest levels of the Constitutional Courts of Turkey, Albania, Macedonia and Portugal will take part in this event.

The Constitutional Court of Kosovo was established in January 2009.

With its authority to review legislation and individual complaints of rights violations, the Court is the ultimate check on legislative and executive power in Kosovo and the final arbiter of the meaning of constitutional provisions enshrining human rights and freedoms.
