Pursuant to Article 115, Section 2 of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo, the Constitutional Court of Kosovo is very pleased to publish their first Annual Report 2009. We inform the public that the Annual report for 2009 was adopted at the Administrative Session held on 19th May 2010. The Report can be found at the Courts website: www.gjk-ks.org

The Constitutional Court of Kosovo was established in January 2009.

With its authority to review legislation and individual complaints of rights violations, the Court is the ultimate check on legislative and executive power in Kosovo and the final arbiter of the meaning of constitutional provisions enshrining human rights and freedoms.
