Safet Hoxha has been appointed a Judge of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo, on 9 August 2018 and he has been elected Deputy President of the Constitutional Court on 10 December 2024.
From 2010 until his appointment to the Constitutional Court, Judge Hoxha has served as the President of the Board of the Public Procurement Regulatory Commission of the Republic of Kosovo.
In the period between 2004 and 2010, he worked as the Head of the Legal Division within the Central Public Procurement Agency of Kosovo, while between 2003 and 2004 he worked as a teacher of the subject “Constitutional Law” at the Secondary School “Skёnder Luarasi” in Suhareka.
Judge Hoxha, completed his law studies in 2003 at the Law Faculty in the University of Prishtina, where he also completed postgraduate studies in the administrative-constitutional course in 2008.
Judge Hoxha, since 2010, has been engaged as a lecturer in the subjects “Constitutional Law” and “Administrative Law”. For some time, he was also engaged in at University “Ukshin Hoti” in Prizren. “AAB” College, where he lectured in the subject “IT Law”, as well as at the “Liria” College in Prishtina where he lectured the subject “Public Finances”.
He is the author of a series of scientific publications published in several renowned international journals and is author of two books: “Basics of Public Procurement”” and “In the Rebus of Public Procurement”.
Judge Hoxha is married and has six children.
