A group of students of the fourth generation from the Young Leaders School, which is part of the education program of the NGO “Youth Initiative for Human Rights in Kosovo”, shall visit the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo, on Thursday, 13 December 2012.

The students shall be received by the President of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo, Prof. Dr. Enver Hasani.

The meeting shall be held in the courtroom of the Constitutional Court, starting at 11:00 hrs.

The Constitutional Court of Kosovo was established in January 2009.

With its authority to review legislation and individual complaints of rights violations, the Court is the ultimate check on legislative and executive power in Kosovo and the final arbiter of the meaning of constitutional provisions enshrining human rights and freedoms.
